Subject:Re: Jim's Xk3 vs B3 video

The B3 is exactly identical to the A100 series, except for the built-in
amplifier/speakers/reverb that the A series had. There are people that take
a A series organ, remove the aforementioned stuff, and put it in a B
cabinet...which (other than the serial number plate) makes it a B3. I am
looking for a B cabinet to put a A into in this fashion, which is perfectly fine
as long as I never try to present it as a B3 if I ever sold it. Anyone
have a B cabinet to sell ????

Just curious- I thought the B3 and A100's were just alike except for the
physical cabinet for the organ and maybe the amps. I would be curious if
anyone knows of other differences. I have a B2 case with an A100 Chassis in it
and it is one of the best hammonds I have ever heard, pride of ownership
not withstanding. (The B2 chassis was completely frozen).
