Another fine keyboard instrument with the same model appellation; C3, is the popular Yamaha 6'1" Conservatory Grand. Apparently there's no confusion there but I still wouldn't mind having one of each: )

Yep, I like the Yamaha C series a lot. The C3 (I played and recorded on quite a few of them) is a little boxy sounding and doesn't have the attack, shine and low note 'snarl' of longer pianos when you need a powerful fortissimo - but it's really great sounding for its size. I like the older C5 model (I was lucky to study and record on a great C5 - bought in 1992 -  for over 10 years) a lot better (which are just a little longer) - not to mention the even longer C7 which is a fantastic and very powerful piano, great for almost all styles - but of course much more expensive than the C3 or the C5.

...just sharing my experience, since I played on all of these already.
