Anyone here heard of the Recession we are in? Unemployment rising? My wife would kill me if I threw 600 at a leslie sim.

Maybe maybe not.
In reality, how many guys that are using clones would bother to throw down another 500 to 600 on an extra piece of gear to make the clone sound better.
I've seen the Doobies and a pile of C&W bands using old Hammond clones with crummy Leslie sims.
These guys could afford chops or even better clones but they don't do it.
Even as a side man most of them cover from 35K to 50K or 60K a year.
Marketing wise why doesn't GC carry anything other than the 61 note E2's or E3's?
I saw one C1 in all of Dallas and that's something like 4 or 5 stores.
No Hammond XK3C's. No XK1's. No lower manuals for the Hammonds.
I never saw Korg in any of their stores.
Also, no Motion Sound stuff.
I bought my BX3 from them and they shipped it to me.
It's all a special order items.
I think that once the splash is over then the Ventilator fellows won't be moving the numbers we think they might.
That's why you don't see boutique amps in any stores.
It's just not a huge market. And neither is the clone market.
They stock the big mark-up heavy volume stuff.
I had to literally research their warehouses back through Nord and found one C2 they didn't even know they had.
After they told me none were available until maybe Oct.
I like the guys at GC but I call them the WalMart of music stores.
They'll take your dough but don't expect much else.
