The chord does no adjustments: the power supply is one of those line lump deals, and is cleverly designed to deal with whatever it gets (nice!). One end is hardwired to a plug that fits into the Ventilator and the "lump", and the the lump has a socket that the supplied Euro cable plugs into, or a US replacement. The USreplacement has the Nord end; I don't know the part number, but every Radio Shack I've been to (6 so far since owning my Electro/Stage/Electro 3) have had them. Cheap (as in inexpensive)!

Which cord at Radio Shack exactly do I need. I intend on ordering my Ventilator next week.
Does the cord do any voltage adjustments (220 to 120 etc) or is it just a matter of getting the cord fits the Ventilator with a US plug on the end? Don't want to damage this baby.

You can carve it up, it doesn't matter. Or you could just go to Radio Shack and
pend $4 and get the right one.

I got my ventilator a day or 2 ago and i havent been able to use it because of
he german power cord. I have a couple of 110 type replacement cords but they
re all polarized with a round side and a half square side. Can i round off the
quatre corner and use one of these? Does the ventilator care which way the cord
oes in?
