Subject:Leslie 330 questions

I have an opportunity to buy a Leslie 330 locally, for use with my XK-3. It's in very nice condition. I'm somewhat familiar with its cousin the 760, since I played a friend's 760 a number of years ago.

I'm wondering how a vintage 330 compares sound-wise, to both the "gold standard" 122/147 (or 142/145) and how it compares to the more modern Motion Sound Pro-145?

Also, are these older pro-line leslies highly regarded in general, or looked upon as "tube leslie wannabees"?
