Wouldn't a Fender Telecaster switch work mounted in project box? Left off,
center slow, right fast? I'm sure it could be wired that way.Just an idea

I wired a center-off mini toggle to a TRS plug using the diagram in the
Ventilator's manual. I could use a standard 1/2 moon wired the same way
when I find one. With the external switch mounted in a small project box
and velcroed to the front rail, I can switch slow/stop/fast with the
toggle or override it with the Ventilator's built in footswitch. You
could also wire a momentary footswitch with a TRS for slow/fast but you
would need a double throw momentary switch which would alternate the
connection from the sleeve to either the ring or the tip.
