I'll admit that I think this method is clumsy; I don't mind a second switch for STOP (as I don't use it much), but to go R or L for fast and slow....I'm not retraining myself.  There's got to be another way to do this.
 
Of course, I could just use the Ventilator the way it was designed, and step on IT!

I have found moving from one switch to the other just as easy as using one switch. I have the polarities set to give R slow L fast and both together, stop.
