Well, actually, the switches on the Ventilator are latching, not momentary (like a sustain).  I like Momentary (I use the in-between speeds a lot!). 
 
I want to keep the Ventilator up top (for now anyway), and hook up a switch.  But send me your mod if it works, just in case.  Thanks!
