First clone?
A Rheem Mark VII and a Leslie 900 were the thing(s) that turned me into an
organ player.
At 14 I went into a used instrument shop with my Dad and there was a choice
of a beat-up cigarette-burned Wurlitzer 140 and the Rheem and Leslie. We
had a station wagon - decision made. Thanks Dad.
What's that? You want to hear what it sounded like? Well,
ohhhhhhh-kaaaayyyyy!

Yes, those are orchestra chimes on there. There's a lot of fun things you
can do when you record on the stage at your high school. If this clip was
the whole tune you'd hear an ElectroComp synth solo over the same riff at
the end.
One other thing since this is the clone list - that same shop also had the
"Little David" Leslie sim. Remember that thing? It was about 9" high and
looked like a 122 cabinet. I remember the owner saying, "That little
bastard sounds like the real thing!"
He's the only person I've ever heard say that.
