hey guys. A few weeks back i posed the question as to how to properly work with your soundman re: the ventilator. With a stereo PA, some people said have him pan it at 10 and 2, some said hard pan. some said don't bother asking for anything =)

So I used it sat night with a stereo PA system and the soundman was great. He said he would experiment a bit to see what sounded better for the room. He tried 10/2 but didnt hear much of a difference.. .when he hard panned it he said it sounded remarkably better. I imagine it will be different everywhere.

But here's the question:

I'm using a Nord E2 with the vent and the Traynor K4 (sounds incredible, by the way). I love the way it sounds going stereo into the amp itself, But...what if I run into a mono PA? Do i HAVE to run mono from ventilator to amp? Or if i run into the amp stereo would one XLR out of the Traynor sum everything mono? Not sure how that works.

thanks,

matt
