I have a couple small mixers UB1202, UB802, a Headphone amp, a 3 1800 mics, and a tube Ultra EQ (used), all do their job fine. IMHO they are not shit or garbage.

OK. So they're cheap, low end but reasonably reliable gear and they are useful and usually worth what you pay for them, or more, if they fit your application. I have read reviews of some power amps and powered mixers that indicated that the stuff didn't hold up so I'd be cautious in the power amp department, but were not talking about that here.

Sure, you can always find better, more expensive gear and it will be up to you in the end. I find it interesting to see the range of opinions you get here but you'll have to sort it out.

One word of advice I heard about buying something you plan to have for generations (like a fine piano), probably does not directly apply here but... "Someday you'll probably forget how much you paid, BUT, you'll never forget that you did/didn't buy the instrument that you really wanted.
