Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but the good "old" Soundcraft Spirit M8
is just great (I have it), and of course anything from Midas is fantastic.
Behringer products in general are meant to be inexpensive alternatives - some of
their products are fine, others not quite. Mackie is - in general a little
better, but still of the "affordable" variety - with the resulting heavy
compromises in sound quality.

Can anybody recommend a small stereo mixer I can use at the playing position
while gigging - I would like to feed my Nord Electro into it as well as another
keyboard and probably a microphone. Then feed trhe whole thing into my amp,
and/or send stereo output to FOH. It would be nice to have earphone output. I
saw some info on the Behringer Stereo Monitor Matrix Mixer MON800, yet some
reviewers claimed it generated noise.
Thanks!
Ron
