I second that -- I have one of the first series MG10/2s, and it's a workhorse, pretty tough construction, it's got a clean signal, and it's not terribly expensive. I wouldn't recommend it for recording necessarily, but it's a good choice for a small mixer.

Investing in an extra power supply would be a good idea if you get that one (or any electronic gigging gear, just as a good habit). I dropped my MG10/2's power supply onto the concrete and the housing broke apart pretty easily. It's holding together with some packing tape ...
