Definitely... I use Pianoteq 2 in my home studio/writing projects.  It 'sits' better in most of my mixes than any of the sampled pianos I use  (Yamaha S90ES [S700 samples], NI Akoustik Piano, Roland SRX Expansion pianos, Kurzweil PC3X [though, in all fairness, thids ones comes the closest..).
