Subject:XM-2 split

For some reason my XM-2 doesn't want to let me set the split point.
I have the split function enabled and a split point set but it doesn't respond as if there is a split.
Does anyone have any ideas on this?
I've tried moving the upper/lower/pedal locations and that does nothing.
