Apparently the instrument in the Winwood videos is a Hammond XB-5. I have
never encountered one of these, which came out around the same time as the
infamous XB-2.

I have played a BX3 on loan/try-out from a local music store here a few
years back. I didn't like it enough to buy it, and eventually bought an
XK-3 Pro organ three years ago. To be fair to the Korg , I didn't have time
to tweak anything. It was straight out of the box.

I really liked the tones Ron Oswanski was getting from the BX3 in his video
though........... He was certainly working really hard to milk those
sounds from the Korg. I'd love to hear what he can get out of a Nord C1.

I considered the C1 as well, but because my gigging is divided between rock,
R&B, and jazz, the lack of drawbars was the deal-breaker for me. I'm sure
its not a problem for Ron Oswanski , lol ;o)
