We used to use a 4-channel feed right from Aux channels on our Allen-Heath board, but we finally (!) went to the Aviom system and now have full control in real time of what we hear. They are all fed from the board through an Ethernet line to our Aviom boxes and IEMs on stage.

Yeah, I wish I had the problem of needing wireless to move around, but 100 lbs of gear keeps me pretty much in one spot! :-)

So, like I said, the amps are to the guitar players like our Leslies are to us. They should mic them off stage if they want to get "that sound". I would mic my Leslie off stage, but the room I have available is often times treated as a junk storage room so I am afraid of people thinking my Leslie is just an old piece of furniture.
