I don't know the answer but have an observation. I know a professional player that uses a CX-3 and a 145 Leslie thru a trek pedal. On break he leaves the leslie on with the rotors on "fast" with no scrim cloth. He claims the cooling the amp is better than shutting it off.
Personally, I would leave the tubes on rather than risking the state changes associated with turning the amp on and off. At least the power tubes are not pullin a load during the break.
