I'm not certain that a bass boost will do what you want. A 145 has plenty of bass -- it's just a *different* bass than a 122/147. The big cab has a *deeper* bass, while the smaller cab has a *thicker* bass. (That's not a great description, but it's as good as I can come up with right now.) Bass EQ controls generally affect from 100Hz down, which will change the bass, but not necessarily in the way you hope. To change the tone of a 145 to a 147, you need a little less 100Hz, and a little more @40Hz, so to speak.
