Yes, the OASYS sounds just like the CX-3, however, if you get the 88-weighted controller it will not "feel" like the CX-3.  The 76-note version is not weighted and feels closer to what the CX3 offers.  I haven't played one in a long time, but my understanding is that the OASYS has all of the Korg sound engine lines.
