Subject:Re: Which clonewheel is right for me?
Hello Dave,
I appologize for being too vague in my first post so i'll answer the questions you asked me. I currently own a Hammond M143 but i don't really care about the layout of the controls. However, I would like to have drawbars availible. I would really like to have the organ sound as authentic as possible with key click, chorus and the like, However i realize I will have to settle for less because of my price range. I'm also fairly new to organ playing. However, I have extensive experience with analog synthesizers and the like. Because of that I'm comfortable with the diving board style keys. The reason I want to buy a clonewheel is to play live with it, most likely through a keyboard amp or an older tube amp in mono. I do not use pedals and much greatly prefer left hand bass. I hope that clears things up a bit. Thanks!
