Mine sounds much better live than in recording.
Once you get below the middle C the sound is lost.
I've been trying to record something with it and it's shrill in the upper registers and then it tapers off to nothing below the C.
It's not this piece since I've heard the same thing in the other E2s I played.
Live it's sufficient but in the studio-forget it.
Essentially the clarity is not good through out the entire range of the board.
Same thing through a good set of headphones.
It's still a good piece of gear for a live gig though.

Hi

Your best move for the Nord is a pair PA speakers. Stereo is the first secret...

Hi Gus, I bought a NE2 (61 key) and I am having a hard time getting a
decent Hammond sound with it. I am sending it through an old Peavey KB-
300 and have tried messing with the EQ to no avail, I just can't get a
good, clean, shimmery type sound. Can anybody recommend a better amp
(short of a real leslie or Morion sound type setup) to get a better
sound? Anybody using JBL EON's or a different amp to get that sound?? I
don't ever play live, just at home by myself.
