Subject:Re: dual-manual Korg?
A couple of weeks ago I picked up a BX3 (modern digital model) with stand locally for
$950. Probably tough to beat price and I jumped all over it. I use it to control either the
VB3 on my laptop, which really doesn't seem to need a Leslie, or the EVB3 into my
Speakeasy & 145. Its a very realistic B3 experience that's very much on a par with XK33 or
C1, but way less money. Occasionally I run the BX3 native into the Speakeasy/145 which
has some nice characteristics in the lower an middle part of the range, but to my ears the
software clones are vastly superior sonically.
