Subject:VB3 Holy Cow!!!
Call me late for supper here guys but I just downloaded the VB3 demo
to a pretty crappy little Dell Laptop and I'm also using the internal
audio although with ASIO4all drivers. I get a few cracks and pops here
and there but what the heck. I also need to mention that I love my
Nord Electro but I was literally blown away by VB3!!! It sounds thick
and ballsy and the Leslie simulator...Holy Crap!!! And it has just
about all the options (if not more, bad memory)that the new CX-3
includes-Leslie speed, mic distance,etc.,etc. in other words a helluva
lot of control. Again I'm trying to share the love with my Electro but
boy I'm thinking I could turn my back on it very easily. I also
downloaded the Pianoteq and Pianissimo demos and I like both of them
as well. The down side of this is I just bought a new Sony Vaio with
64-Bit Vista and no drivers are available for my MIDI interface, so
time to update I guess. I wanted to get a Firewire audio interface
anyway so maybe all of this is good thing. I know a lot of you guys
are using the virtual stuff and I was wondering what you guys think
and what you use, etc., etc. Should I stay with Vista-64 or downgrade
to XP Pro??? Thanks for your input!!!
