Subject:NORD C1: My Question, Pt. 2
Can anyone say why, after I reset the organ (most of the factory settings; I
don't know if there's a way to reset EVERYTHING - if so could you tell me,
as I can't find it in the manual?), when I turn it on the previous session's
drawb(utton?)ar registrations are reset to 888000000? Someone posted a helpful
response to this query a couple days ago, reminding me that when I reset the
organ this was the normal result. However if so, why do the overdrive &
reverb knobs have to be tweaked to get them going? It's not like when there's a
short, and a given knob works when and if it wants; both knobs work fine when
moved either way. I love the C1; absolutely satisfying, a real Hammond joy in
every way. I get the idea (God, do I HOPE) that nothing's wrong with the
organ (been playing it since November); the other day I think I hit the
"Unison" button inadvertently and that's when I heard its' effect and decided,
probably prematurely, to reset.
Any suggestions to ease this (happily) organ-drenched brain will be GREATLY
appreciated - thanks in advance.
Adam
