Subject:Re: NORD C1: Anyone Else Experience This?

Adam, for as long as I've owned it, I've considered my B3/122 combo
to be my most prized personal possession. Partially because ANY
vintage Hammond is, in a way, an irreplaceable piece of music
history,...and partially just because it looks and sounds so damn
cool (and is so much fun to play).

However, Nord has done such a good job with the C1, if I was suddenly
put in a position where I had to choose one and ONLY one Hammond
keyboard, be it vintage or clone....well, let's just say that's not a
decision I want to be faced with!

You've owned some interesting clones that were pretty much state of
the art in their time. A long long time ago (in what almost seems
like another lifetime) I owned and gigged with a Farfisa Combo
Compact (all the time, wishing it was a Hammond). So, it's been fun
playing the C1's Farfisa emulation - it brings back a lot of memories.
