Jim -

You're yet another person who has several Hammonds, who exclaims over this
incredible Nord C1... though I've only ever owned one Hammond (an ancient but
beloved M-102 w/a Leslie 760; I've had it since 1986), I've been playing
clones since 1992 when I bought a floor-model Hamm-Suz XB2... then in '99, the
XK2. From 11/2002 to recently it's been the Korg CX3 (v.2). I loved it - it
sounds great, feels great. But the C1... MAN, does it blow away all the rest...
I've always dreamed of owning a console TWG Hammond; specifically a mint
condition A-100 with a Leslie 122. But in all honesty, since the Nord arrived
(11/11), the idea of an actual Hammond organ seems almost, I don't know,
redundant! I find it that satisfying. And 33 (or whatever) lbs.! The Korg was 38!!

Enjoy YOUR new C1, and thanks -

Adam
