Sorry to disagree with you, respectfully of course.? I've flown into Buffalo from Newark (same route) and LaGuardia dozens of times over the past 10 years.? Worst thing that ever happened was that we were rerouted to Rochester and bussed back to Buffalo (about an hour bus ride).? The DASH 8 is a very reliable plane too. It reminds me of the A10 Warthog warplane; ugly but very reliable.

I don't know exactly what happened yet, same as everyone else, but I wouldn't hesitate to take the same route again.

It IS much more dangerous to drive; infinitely more chances to perish. When its your time, you can be sitting in your house (like the guy who died in his house) and a plane can fall on you.? I don't hear anyone saying "I'm not going to sit in my living room, no sir.. a plane could....

Anyway, just my two cents.
