Actually, it was pretty easy. One of the nice things about NOT upgrading to a new clone is that it allows a familiarity with the tone that makes for quick tone changes.

I'm trying to keep things simple. Just a BX-3, and AMA, and the SLA2.

The SLA2 is a very nice amp. I've been using one for almost two years now. As I mentioned in the review, it's a very 'neutral' sounding amp, which is exactly what I'm looking for: an amp that adds nothing except volume.
If you're asking if it puts out the rated power, etc. -- I have no idea. I don't sweat that stuff, most of the time. I can tell you that it's plenty loud enough! Playing the intro to Green-Eyed Lady at just below clipping is usually good for 2-3 things falling off the shelves in the band room. ;-)
