Nice review. I bet it was a challenge with your BX3, it has an odd
low end EQ issue, I had a hard time dealing with that issue, trying to
tweak the digital EQ and the main (panel) EQ to smooth the tone out
accross the board, but seemed too "bassey"... thus making it hard to
feed the preamp.
I actually run my organ signal thru a digital 1/3 octave EQ before I
hit my first tube gain stage, that lets me set a balanced tone into
the tube drive (2nd EQ reshapes the post-tube tone to next stage) this
may be an option that may get you even more out of the AMA to your LBFH.
You seem to have a regard for the Art SLA2 amp? I've been eyeballing
this for a upcoming project, does it live up to its reputation for its
rated performance?
