Hi Jason,

Yes, the MS-360 is omnidirectional; however, I don't think it was meant as a 'Leslie replacement.' MS already makes a line of rotating speakers. The MS-360 seems to be designed to provide the same room-filling attributes of say, open-backed guitar amps, while retaining the low end that an open-back cab usually lacks. I had a set of similar stereo speakers back in the late '60s and early '70s, and they had a surround ability that front-firing speakers rarely muster. The trade-off -- at least, on those speakers -- was a little less defined high end.

I won't comment on the amp's ability to 'sound just like a Leslie' with a decent sim, because I've never even heard the MS-360. I'll bet it sounds very convincing with certain sims, less so with others. But it's the same size as the PRO-145, and actually 5 lbs. *heavier* than the PRO. So, whether it would be better for your situation depends on what the amp's role is: Leslie replacement, or keyboard all-in-one.

Regards,

-BW
