I called Hammond about it and they told me there was no "Stop" value of 9.
That the lowest value is "1", and that does not stop the rotor completely.

yea , my 2101 does the same thing in stop mode but only with my
xk-3 hooked up to it ( 11 pin connection ) using the same 11 pin
input with my c-3 it brakes totally . i emailed hammond about it
a while back but they never responded , guess there was no fix .
i,ve got a nord c1 now but i,ve have,nt played it through the 2101
yet , i like the 2101, the tone isn,t that great but it,s certainly
handy , big and loud on stage , i,ve got a peavey rx 22 driver in
mine , it,s a little noisey but it sounds way better than the stock
unit , it,s set a tad over 1/4 volume on stage ( it,s my moniter ,
a miked 122 goes to the house ) the peavey unit has been holding up
just fine , the same driver sounds great in the 122 but it has,nt
been that durable for the stage in it , least that,s what i,ve found
b.b.
