The C2 doesn't have this function or at least I can't find it.
The midi channels are 1-16 then off.
So I guess chapter 7 is wrong unless there is something hidden in the menus that they aren't telling us in the manual.
I guess this calls for an e-mail to Nord.

The C1's have the ability to send midi velocity data, and you do so by selecting a midi channel that begins with E.. (midi channels 1-16 are followed by E1-E16, and the E channels send velocity), I assume that the C2's work basically the same..

I have a nice Sonic Cell module sitting on top of my C1 and it makes a wonderful companion for my C1.. it has great sounds, and sits perfectly on top of the C1, right side. That said, I wish the acoustic pianos were a touch better on the Sonic Cell, but the electric piano's, clavinets, strings are all great.. Eventually, I will probably pick up one of Roland's Piano collection SRX cards to plug in to give me a little better piano sounds...

No problem at all sending velocity.. that said the Nord C1 does have some deficiencies as a controller, for example lack of octave shift, keyboard zones, and no pitchbend/modwheel.. However, my Sonic Cell allows me to shift octaves, create zones and/or layer sounds, as do most synth modules.. so the only really big drawback of the C1 is lack of pitch bend and modulation wheels..

I don't see any velocity settings on my C2.
Where are you finding this setting.
AFAIK, there is none.
