Subject:Nord E2 vs Hammond XK2

a while back I had posted about getting NE2 about 4 yrs ago and not having turned on my XK2 since. Someone here recommended I try the xk2 again thru the Ventilator just to see what kind of improvements it could possibly make to it.

It's funny...before the Vent, using both of those clones thru my Pro3t, I could only hear a slight difference. Now with the Vent I hear an Enormous difference between the two, with the NE2 being victorious...most notably, the digital sound of the drawbars with the xk2 being more pronounced whereas the NE2 sounds so nice and woody.

So finally...some bad feedback about the Ventilator. It makes your older gear sound not as good as your newer gear. Don't Buy One!!
