Subject:Re: Ventilator power cord

I am also in the UK and I got mine last week. The power cord is not an issue
as any standard UK power cord works. The controls on the unit are fairly
self explanatory. I know the manual is in German but there¹s not a lot that
it tells you. However, if you have any problems, let me know my wife
speaks German and will be happy to translate (but not the whole manual)!

I believe the email contact you need is: info@neo-instruments.de

Their website is: http://neo-instruments.de/

For general information, I have tried the Ventilator with my New B3 Hammond
and my first impressions are very that it is great. It sounds absolutely
superb through headphones (now allowing me to play whenever I want with a
Leslie effect yippeee!). I am working on getting the sound right in terms
of putting it through my mixing desk and HK Audio speaker system, but I must
stress that this is more related to getting the equalization to sound like a
Leslie. I have a 122XB Leslie normally connected to the Hammond so I can do
a side by side comparison. I cannot fault the sim effect from the ventilator
it is excellent and in a Œmix¹ I am sure that you cannot tell the
difference between this unit and a real Leslie. If you are into adding
overdrive it is very good indeed. As I intend to make some recordings using
my other digital keyboards, I am sure I will use the Ventilator instead of
micing the Leslie much easier.

In my view it is the next best thing to a real Leslie!

Happy to provide any further comments it was through this forum that I
first read other reviews that tempted me to purchase it thanks to everyone
for their contributions.

Cheers,
Jonathan
