Hi Guys,
Just joined the group.
Ive been an organist for years as a semi pro-played on some ships with a
band and done some concerts.
I like all styles of organ and at the moment have 3 Conn organs,A yamaha
EL90,Hammond XE-1 + 822 leslie and a Hammond RT-3 +145 leslie.
Ive just decided to get rid of the RT3-its the most dissapointing organ
ive played in years-its not very bright-not much bottom end and generally not
very inspiring to play.Ive had other tonewheels in the past and was
generally died in the wool, but i guess it was a case of `looking back thro`rose
tinted glasses!(ive just been `Cloned` and gotten used to the Rotosonic
leslies!!
The trouble is ,i am stunned ny the sound of the XE-1 especially through
the leslie,so ive made a deal to get rid of the RT3 and the 145 is on ebay
at the moment(and its in great nick.)
Heres the problem. My Xe-1 is at my church where we use it for contemporary
worship and now from a `we dont have organs here` stance, they now dont
want me to take it away. But i want it at home.So i need to get the likes of a
XB2 for church and maybe a 722 leslie for home .Anybody got one??

Allright...someone else who owns a Yamaha EL90...what a great "organ"
(actually, an Electone).
