be aware that most of the time gear is chosen for its availability and ease
of repair when on the road. You’d be hardpressed to find a major city
where a Motif was not available, right? That doesn’t discount the fact that
the Motif is great, but it’s not necessarily a greater instrument than the
Stage. Same thing with Kurzweil. The economics of the industry has a lot
to do with the visibility of a brand.
