Subject:Re: Protecting Nord from Humidity This Summer?

Condensation internally usually happens when cold gear is exposed to warm
moist air. If you prevent that air from seeping into the unit before it
warms to room temp (or in your case allowing the air conditioner to cool and
dehumidify the room air), it should prevent that. Wrap the keyboard in
something moisture proof (plastic bag/ sheet/ etc). Here in the northeast
this is usually a winter problem when cold gear from truck or trailer is
opened in a warm humid building. If Im not going to turn the unit on and
warm it up right away, I leave the keyboard in its case for a while so it
reaches room temp before I open it.

Subject: [CWSG] Protecting Nord from Humidity This Summer?

I live in an air conditioned apartment, but I'm a little concerned about
those hours that I'm out of the house, at work, etc... during the six years
I played it, my v.2 CX3 reacted a couple of times to heavy hot & humid
days; nothing permanent. But I was wondering... is there any way to protect
my
new Nord C1 from humidity, short of leaving the a/c on all the time ($$$)?
