Hey Mike,
Not a B3, but close. It's actually a Hammond CV. Looks just like a C3
cabinet wise. Tonewise, of course, dead on, if not better than a B3. I
bought it last year on Ebay for $600. I sold the XK-3 immediately after
that. For a Leslie I'm using a 251 with a 22H amp inside. Really really
nice setup.
If I do ever get the "gig bug", I'll need a portable console, but I
don't think I'll ever compromise on the Leslie. I don't foresee myself
playing out so I don't think it'll be a problem. Post us some videos of
you playing your Key5 / Motion Sound rig. I'd love to hear that combo.
