Subject:Using Leslie 2101 as a straight-up keyboard amp
Is there any way to use the "stationary" channel of the Leslie 2101 as a
regular keyboard amp? My idea would be to use the 11-pin input from the
XK-3, running through the rotary horn / low rotor simulation, and also have
a non-organ keyboard input through a 1/4" input playing through the
stationary channel.
I briefly looked at the back of the 2101, it seems like the only 1/4" input
is to the rotary channel. Playing non-organ stuff through the horn gives it
a weird honky-sounding timbre.
I'm travelling right now and just thinking about this and thought I'd throw
it out to the group.
Thanks -
