A slightly different take... if you can find a used Pro3T and a Low
Pro, then you have a true mechanical rotary system throughout the sound
spectrum and need not rely on a synthesized effect at all...

To my ears, really throwing sound around the room mechanically beats a
synthesized effect any day...

Why MS decided to discontinue the Low Pro yet keep some form of the Pro
3T in its product line is beyond me. (Anyone here know why?) I couldn't
imagine wanting to use my Pro3Tm without its matching Low Pro... But
the two together is a highly satisfying (and relatively reasonably
portable) combination.
