Subject:OT: Leslie Motor Maintenance

Not that I want to get us off the topic of "talking Hammonds" (I suppose I really do), I had a question about Leslie motor maintenance. I have heard some say the motors should be oiled once per year with genuine Hammond oil (I assume genuine oil used for the tone generator). What I wonder is, do most of you who do that take the motors totally apart and clean them as well as just adding some oil? I am not afraid to do that, I just wonder how often it is necessary. For reference, I have a Leslie 145.

Also, does anyone know of step-by-step instructions for doing that? I think I know what I am doing, but I always like to follow others lead if they have more experience. Thanks!
