Okay, I'm going to be the one to open my mouth. I just don't get the
"talking Hammond". Sounds nothing like talking to my ears and does sound kind of
cheesy. Just my personal opinion. But for those who find it pleasurable,
thank goodness our Hammond's can do it.

Just goes to show...it's all been done! :)

But someone mentioned that it's difficult to do this kind of drawbar
manipulation and not sound cheesy/dated. I think Medeski demonstrates
that it can be done.

I've used the Chester Thompson wah-wah technique but examples like
this from Olivera or from people like Medeski show that there is a lot
more variety that can be explored.
