I know a guy in Salem, OR who uses the same setup you describe. The SK
series incorporated Drawbar Organ, Strings, Brass, and fairly
full-featured analog Synth sections which could be used individually
or layered in various ways. The top of the line SK50D had two
keyboards and added a Bass section. The SK50D was also capable of
interfacing (pre-MIDI) with Yamaha's then top of the line CS70M analog
