Thanks for the compliment Rob! That was a good day when I came up with that one! (The impetus was trying to make my WS550 hold my A90, Electro and Fantom X7, which it did, by placing the rods at the front, and the "2nd tier" all the way at the back.
THANKS AGAIN!

Hey Tony
I just wanted to thank you for that great second tier idea !
It came in really handy when I originally used an old XB-2 as a lower
manual for my XK-3 rig . It's pure genius in its simplicity ;o)
........As is the QS-550 itself...... :-) - IMHO
I have the HamSuz XLK-3 Pro lower manual now, but your ' threaded/adjustable
rear support rods ' idea was a great solution for my original rig.........
I'd recommend anyone to check this out. It may be a solution for your rig
(or not :)
Thanks again..... If you ever get to Newfoundland the beer's on me !
Cheers

The WS550 does have a second tier, you just to buy it as accessories. Or
you, can make them for $5 using my instructions. (Please search the archives
for WS550 2nd Tier, and you should find them.)
As for the accessories for the WS550, try these:
You'll need the WS562: http://tinyurl. com/2jyaqg
and you'll need the Z727: http://tinyurl. com/2ntql5
The second tier will be height, width and tilt adjustable. And sturdy enough
to hold an A90.
