Ted,
Actually you got an useful hint !
Wonder that your tip surpass the programmer mind in the opposite way of most of who living out of the States many times restricted by geographical issues.
This time was your turn ! :)
BTW even Canadians, can't grab new M$ Office Accounting Express (incredibly free) ONLY for users in the US.
Nevertheless I downloaded w/o troubles putting Argentina as country and with actual name, phone, etc. not fake testing.
I run it as betatester on an AMD64 PC loaded with an UBUNTU LINUX DVD (free DVD sent elsewhere in the world with a snail mailbox).
I've just tested old win32 programas will running Windows WITHIN LINUX !!! , just installing the acclaimed Windows emulator from:
www.winehq.com.
That's actually cool !! next thing to try with Linux, is my old Quicken DOS program :) all under Ubuntu LINUX.
Hope it helps guys tired of reading mumbo-jumbo or computerese topics
What I've posted was tried myself at my time expenses and minor glitch like rebooting to load Linux from DVD.
The above Linux DOES NOT take a bit of the Windows hard disk, just use it empty spacke constrainted to the maximum, so NO FEAR.
Hey...actually guess that only two or three platforms will survive to this software competition.
End of days of need of partitioning software as pre-requisite.
In certain manner in one day, when the 'end of software' take place as has been prophetized, think that we'll have 'Hammond clones' most in the way of a ' SaaS' (software as a service).
Nowadays I've changed my mind about remotely hosted 'Hammond sounds'.
Isn't actually in close horizons , except the not free Receptor software, with dedicated software, but in a not far day we'll see it something like that just for free in any IP enabled device (a PDA or cell ?)
Just my .02 of hope today.
Best,
Rafael

I get the screen that says they don't serve USA or Canada (thanks
Electro-Harmonix) but there is a "Enter" link that if I click it makes the
site come up. It opens in a "Popup" window so I had to tell my pop-up
blocker to let it through
(Firefox3)
Cheers!
