Hi Dave and all,

Glad to hear you put hands con with also an encoder, if I well remember was on a Fatar of your own, wasn' it ?

I appreciate the works (myself am a customer) of MIDI Guru, E.Eng. Jordan Petkov in Bulgaria, but better yet their project gallery that has been always inspirational for days of crossing roads.

Let me chime in for that URL of general interest , beyond that are projects with MidiBoutique firmware, can be inspirational not only for MidiBoutique .com but also for other hardware MIDI and keyboard manufacturers as DOEPFER is, told that feel better to get balance at chime in.

What you mention:

I'd swear that such thing mce32064 is intended for scanning points (aka key's contacts).

On the other side I was talking about their B4ce which in turn is an encoder to manage B4 visual controls instead of using a mouse to managing and see results on the PC screen.

Sorta think like the ones known as 'surface controls' for recording software using actual sliders and pots.

IMO You mce3264 has the role of detect when keys are pressed (or not) and then tranmit those signals to the 'clone engine'

As opposite the B4ce encoder has the function of transmit 'analog control signals ( potentiometers, drawbars, etc.) to the software as it recognized as it should be done thru the mouse.

Hope this conceptually helps to somebody put a product , a code and an affordable price for it.

Best,

Rafael

rafael,

Midiboutique programmed one of their encoders for my dual manual hammond controller project, and it is set up to control VB3.

Anybody that wants to can ask them to use my midi map - I don't mind.

I didn't use the B4 organ controller board though - it didn't have enough inputs to directly support 4 sets of drawbars.

The controller I am using is their mce32064.
