Subject:Clone comparison VB3
Hi Aart,
Amazing VB3 tone reproduction !
Only better to have been there in person !
For those clicking on your links hope they noticed that
there is a ending dot as trailer that carries a 404 error message server. (purgatory creek etc. etc.)
Just the mi file will sounds if taking it out (the ending dot of the URL)
VB3 controller ?
Asked weeks ago for a hardware controller to the folks of Midiboutique about VB3 and possibilities of having a VB3 controller and was told that their B4ce encoder for B4 organ, would be possible of being reprogrammed for VB3.
Wish that would exist !
Imagine a ´drawbar box'
Wonder if somebody would sell the 'microchip' firmware to recognize physical drawbars/sliders , knobs, etc.
Sadly at the moment MidiBoutique has that only available for B4 organ controller and of my knowledge Native doesn't longer offer their B4D box.
Such developments guess that a few big companies can afford R6D fpr such thing out of Native or Doepfer.
That controller box for VB3 seems to be a perfect DIY project :)
Better yet as VB3 costs a fraction of B4, but at the forum didn't hear about any project based on VB3 yet.
Best,
Rafael

I've recorded some comparison examples of Guido Scognamiglio' s fine
VB3 Hammond organ simulation.
I've been using the midi files made by
William Busch of www.purgatorycreek. com:
http://www.purgator ycreek.com/ mp3/B3CloneTest. mid.
see and hear the comparisons for yourself on:
http://www.solcon. nl/aart.saly/ compare/compare. html
I also place a file with information in the Files section
I'm curious to hear what you guys think of it........
Best,
Aart
