the pot fully CCW, and do not touch it at all and it generally
behaves. But, if I do turn it, it seems to jump in loudly with
overdrive in certain spots instead of gradually. I have v1.0
firmware and I bought mine used. So, I though that was maybe why
someone got rid of it. But it's fine with me since we don't need
much distortion/overdrive in church songs! :-) (But we DO use that
sound occasionally, and I wish it worked better on my CX-3)

YES!! That is EXACTLY what mine does.......the overdrive seems
to "jump" in loudly in certain spots of the travel of the knob (most
noticeable in the full CCW to about 10 o'clock position). I believe
my firmware is v2.01 though. So maybe this "fee-chur" didn't change
between code revisions? :-)

Thanks also to those who responded regarding the use of the
expression pedal causing the same effect. Yes, I do use the
expression pedal. Is there any way to suppress the overdrive
function and still use the expression pedal just for "volume
control"? I usually leave my "master level" at 12 o'clock, maybe I
should crank it all the way up and use less "travel" on the
expression pedal, to keep out of the "overdrive range"?

Thanks for the help! This is a great forum!
