The way I understood it, Hammond-Suzuki used a different location for
foldback in their factory defaults on the XK-3.( I don't know if the 3c
version is different or not.)

Jim Alfredson's settings use the same foldback location as a real B3, so
this should sweeten the upper end, even if you don't use his tone wheel
tweeks.

I have not made this change in my XK-3 pro rig yet, but plan to do so soon.
Even without these changes, I don't have any problem getting a great mellow
tone through my vintage 122.

But it's really great to be able to 'fine-tune' things like this on the
XK-3. They got that part right..............
